International Day of Action for Womens Health

28 May 2021– International Day of Action for Womens Health is celebrated every year on 28 May and established as a reminder to address the multiple causes of disease and death that affect women all over the world. Every woman has a right to Access Quality Health Care, no matter which part of the world she hails from, what age she is, or what her ethnicity or religion is. To mark the occasion, ED Communications Officer Barbara Klein was a guest on the latest episode of the EU Patients Podcast where she discussed what it means for women with breast cancer to have access to quality health care and what can be done to make sure that all women have access to quality health care.
