Europa Donna at YES!CON, Germany’s Largest Cancer Convention

Europa Donna Vice President Ingrid Krücken was a featured speaker at YES!CON 2026, Germany’s largest cancer convention, held on 19–20 June in Berlin. Organised by the non-profit initiative yeswecan!cer, the event brings together patients, healthcare professionals, researchers and advocates to promote open dialogue and improve cancer awareness.

During the conference, Ingrid participated in the panel “Diversity in Oncology,” exploring how social and biological differences influence cancer treatment and outcomes. She also led the workshop “Understanding Trials,” where she explained the role of clinical trials, their ethical framework, and how patients can access innovative therapies.

Through her participation, Europa Donna reinforced the importance of patient rights, equitable access to research opportunities, and ensuring that the patient perspective remains central to advances in cancer care.
