Europa Donna Supports Call for Health to Be a Priority in the EU Budget

Europa Donna has joined more than 200 healthcare experts, scientists, academics and patient advocates in signing a joint letter urging EU leaders and national governments to place health at the heart of negotiations on the European Union’s next long-term budget.

The letter calls for sustained investment in health to ensure that the EU can meet the needs of its citizens, strengthen healthcare systems, and improve outcomes for patients across Europe. While the European Parliament has already expressed strong support for prioritising health, the signatories are encouraging Member States to do the same during the upcoming budget negotiations.

As a signatory, Europa Donna reaffirms its commitment to advocating for policies and investments that improve the lives of people affected by breast cancer across Europe.
